  I am a past Section Chief for Gastroenterology at White Plains Hospital. The GI section is a large and a diverse section. I was able to achieve a unified and coordinated Gastroenterology Section and Endoscopy Unit. I endeavored to foster an environment that allows for communication and flexibility. A focus on quality metrics allowed for quality endoscopic procedures and enhance patient care and patient satisfaction.

  I was instrumental in the formation of the Endoscopy Services Executive Committee (ESEC) and served as the Chairman. This committee brings together Gastroenterologists , Anesthesiologists, Nursing and Administration in the same committee in order to more effectively lead the WPH Endoscopy Unit. A multidisciplinary approach can streamline planning and execution of important quality and patient centered initiatives that enhanced the function of the WPH Endoscopy Unit

  I am a past President of White Plains Hospital Medical and Dental Staff. During my tenure I fostered coordination and cooperation between hospital administration and a diverse medical staff. I was instrumental in arranging leadership training for Department Chairs and Section Chiefs. I was also involved in reorganizing and strengthening Medical Staff Committees including the Credentials Committee.
