Summary

• Dr. Ben Medrano is a board certified psychiatrist and received his MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine with additional training in the Urban Underserved Track. He completed his psychiatric residency training in the Mount Sinai Hospital System in New York City and spent years thereafter serving those with severe mental health challenges throughout the NYC urban community through Assertive Community Treatment and several community clinics.
  
  His post doctoral training includes a fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry, numerous ketamine and psychedelic assisted therapy trainings including a certificate from the American Society of Ketamine Physicians. As the former Senior Vice President and USA Medical Director of Field Trip Health, he has extensive experience and knowledge in working with psychedelics and ketamine in particular.
  
  His clinical practice is influenced by ongoing training in psychedelic assisted therapies. With over 20 years of intensive training in the Buddhist community, he is well-versed in Buddhist psychology and numerous forms of meditation practices.
