Summary

  • I serve as the Chief Medical Officer of Valley Behavioral Health, the largest behavioral health company in Utah. We have over 70 clinics in 3 states providing behavioral health and substance abuse treatment to over 19,000 individuals every year. We treat virtually every behavioral health and addiction problem including homeless severely and persistently mentally ill, criminally mentally ill, children and adolescents, nursing home and advanced geriatric psychiatry, school-based programming, severe autism, residential and outpatient substance abuse, medication assisted treatment, etc.

We have 6 clinics dedicated to treating the non-Medicaid population called Highland Springs Specialty Clinic. We deliver thousands of telehealth services monthly with our own employees from various states including Texas, and Virginia.

We own and run our own high-complexity CLIA certified blood and urine drug testing lab call Valley Lab, and our own pharmacy called Valley Rx. I serve as the medical review officer for the lab helping to bridge the traditional gap between excellent drug testing results and state of the art addiction medicine treatment to the patients.

We are passionate about using modern technology and data analytics to drive more efficient and effective health care that reduces hospitalizations, incarcerations, and homelessness, reuniting and strengthening families. I am very involved with developing and deploying innovative data solutions to our team members so that they can deliver better care.
