Summary

  • I completed my training in Ophthalmology as well as eye plastic surgery and became very interested in the challenges/confusion surrounding the topic of double eyelid surgery (or "Asian Blepharoplasty" as I coined this original term, the addition of a consistent upper eyelid crease and creation of symmetry). The eyelid crease procedure is very likely the most often performed cosmetic surgery among Asians per se.
    I have developed and standardized some of the terminology.Besides private practice,my academic pursuit and publications have been related to this topic.A 3rd edition of the medical textbook "Asian Blepharoplasty and the eyelid crease" was published by me in 2016.
