  • in hs i was very active in multiple sports, band, choir, speech, newspaper as well as worked. student council president and athlete of the year 1978. in college i was in wrestling rugby synchronized swimming, theater, cheerleading. worked security for rock concerts, doorman for local bar. got my degree in scienc ed, coaching.former math science pe teacher and coach. navy put me through med school. became flight surgeon in guam where i was senior flight surgeon for search and rescue, ran a 12 person clinic including lab, xray, emergency room and pharmacy, received a humanitarian medal, two navy achievement medals, a navy commendation medal and flight surgeon of the year for the pacific fleet during my first two years of real active duty on guam. stayed an xtra year with jet squadron (VQ-5) as their personal flight surgeon as opposed to being attached to the hospital
    (Naval Hospital Guam) although i was the defacto flight surgeon for HC-5, the helicopter squadron i did most of my search and rescue with. after the navy i moved to brownsville, tx where i eventually opened up my own practice seeing 60 patients a day on a regular basis until i started cutting back once my two boys were born. ive had my practice for 25 years now which i opened after my first two years of working for a pediatrician once i moved to brownsville. sept 2020 sold my practice. willing to work tenums or part time. PREGNANT WOMEN, NEW BORNS, CHILDREN, YOUNG AND ELDER ADULTS i work because i want to not because i have to. I dont do funny business or play billing games. if you want a doc who actually likes being a doc and taking care of people, im one of those. ill go anywhere part time but i am not an e.r. doc or hospitalist. ill work on a ship, a remote area or wherever. as of oct 2021, i now work part time for New Horizons/Brownsville Community Health Clinic and i love it. still willing to work tenums for a few weeks occasionally for the experience or to help out as BCHC permits.
