Summary
- I am originally from Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Cass Technical High School. After obtaining my Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, I completed my medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM). I completed my family practice residency at St John Providence Hospital System in 2013. I am board-certified in Family Medicine/OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Technique).
As part of my giving back to my Detroit and MSUCOM communities – I speak and mentor high school, college and medical students.
I have a genuine passion for my patients and medicine. I find family medicine rewarding because I am able to help patients understand what is going on with their health and help “translate” it to terms they can understand. I have also special interest women’s health, weight management and urgent care.
