Bones, MD is a triple board certified physician in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Prior to become board certified, Dr. Bones underwent rigorous training. After graduating with a Bachelors in Arts, majoring with distinction in Neuroscience, at the Colorado College, Dr. Bones was granted an Intramural Research Training Award by the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. He was mentored by the experts in Pediatric Bipolar Disorder and contributed to the understanding of underlying brain connectivity in this disease through research with Functional MRI at the National Institute of Mental Health. He received his Medical Degree from the renowned Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC which routinely has one of the toughest acceptance rates in the country. After medical school, Dr. Bones successfully completed an internship in General Surgery, residency in Diagnostic Radiology, and a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. During his time there, he complete exemplary research earning many awards including the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award and Magna Cum Laude award for an education exhibit at the 104th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America. He completed his training at Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine with a fellowship in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Bones now practice in the great state of New Jersey with the goals of providing quality, patient-centered healthcare in the outpatient and hospital settings.
