  • Dr. Kantha graduated from PCOM medical school in Philadelphia. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital, where she was Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor. Dr. Kantha continued her training in Sports and Interventional Spine Medicine during her fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She has published chapters in textbooks including, Interventional Pain: An Algorithmic Approach and Emerging Techniques in Spine Surgery. She has also lectured nationally and internationally on various topics including "Biomechanics of Shoulder Injuries" and "The Diagnosis and Treatment of Low Back Pain", as well as held workshops, including a Knee Examination Workshop in Prague, Czech Republic. Dr. Kantha is an active member of several academic organizations, both in physiatry and in interventional pain management. She is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and holds two board certifications in Pain Medicine through the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. She also holds a certification in Medical Acupuncture.
