Summary

• I was the first dermatologist to have a laser in private practice in the Western US, in 1978, and have been involved with multiple companies in the research and development of new instruments and their utilization in dermatology. I co-founded the first Laser surgery clinic at Stanford University, where I was on the clinical faculty for more than 10 years. I have been in the same location in solo private practice since 1976. I am a charter member of the American Society for Laser surgery and Medicine and have been on committees for the ASLMS and the American Society for Dermatological Surgery. I hope to continue practicing the another10 years. The practice of medicine is truly one of the greatest joys in my live, an honor and a privilege. I deeply care about my patients and try my best to not only help their physical needs , but understand the impact of their disease on their lives.
