• Good Day Psychiatry serves children and teens suffering with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and stress. We have a specialty in selective mutism, a type of anxiety disorder feel as if they can’t speak to people other than their closest family. We also treat pediatric anxiety and depression. These two problems are increasing in young people. This generation is facing unique challenges such as social media and ultra-competitive sports performance and is taking a toll on the mental health of our youth. The stressful nature of today’s youth environment can also lead to problems rooted in anxiety, such as obsessive compulsive disorder, where a person feels compelled to repeat certain actions or has compulsive thoughts.
