She is currently Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Director of Geriatric Dermatology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Janniger has authored or co-authored 150 academic articles and 40 contributions to medical textbooks.

    A board certified dermatologist, Dr. Janniger has been practicing since 1991. Dr. Janniger earned her medical degree from the Medical University of Warsaw. Following an internship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she completed her dermatology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

    Dr. Janniger is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a charter member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society. In 2012, Dr. Janniger served as a member of the Executive Board of the World Health Academy’s 1st International Winter Consensus Conference. Dr. Janniger is an Honorary Member of the Kuwait Society of Dermatology and the Jordanian Society for Dermatology and Venereology.

    Dr. Janniger is Managing Editor of eMedicine Dermatology and founding Section Editor of Cutis. Dr. Janniger is a member of the editorial boards of SKINmed, Dermatology and Cosmetics, Clinical Dermatology, Medical Mycology, Dermatology Review, Medical Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology, Serbian Journal of Dermatology, and Indian Journal of Pediatric Dermatology.
