She provided medical leadership for 3 separate hospice programs and later the national hospice organization. She has completed multiple local and international studies to improve behavioral and physical health for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Dr. A provided basic PC education for medical residents for over 9 years and continues to participate in community-based education aimed at identifying and preparing surrogate decision-makers and other topics relative for multi-cultural aging populations.
