  • Dr. Carlos Romero-Marrero is a Staff Physician in the Digestive Disease and Surgical Institute of the Cleveland Clinic. He specializes in diagnosing and treating people with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He completed his medical school, residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship in the University of Puerto Rico. He subsequently completed advanced training in liver transplantation at the Mayo Clinic. He has been at the Cleveland Clinic for the past 5 years. He is the Associate Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship and co-leads SALUD, the Hispanic Employee Group of the Cleveland Clinic. He is also a staff physician at the Hispanic Clinic of Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital.
