As the Vice President of the practice, Dr. Salgado is dedicated to ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and care that is tailored to their unique needs. With his three board certifications in General Psychiatry, Child-Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry, Dr. Salgado is able to offer a comprehensive approach to treatment that addresses the unique needs of each patient.
Dr. Salgado has a long-standing commitment to improving the quality of care for children and adolescents with mental health disorders. As the founding program director for the Citrus Health Network—Florida International University Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, he has played a critical role in the education and training of the next generation of child and adolescent psychiatrists.
In his role as program director, Dr. Salgado has overseen the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program that includes didactic and clinical components. He is responsible for ensuring that the fellowship meets the rigorous standards set forth by the American Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
As program director, Dr. Salgado is also responsible for recruiting and selecting qualified candidates for the fellowship, overseeing their progress throughout the program, and evaluating their performance. He works closely with the faculty to ensure that the educational goals of the program are being met and that the fellows are receiving the highest quality training possible.
