Summary

• I am an internist with a passion for healthcare quality in chronic multi-morbid disease management and a heart for end-of-life care. Focus on patient centered care with understanding of health literacy impact is a priority to me. With love for learning I enjoy medical education and have worked with students and residents at many points in my career and am a Clinical Instructor with Wake Forest School of Medicine. Specializations in lipid management and hypertension are certificates I carry in addition to Internal Medicine Board Certification. I am a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine working towards my Hospice Medical Director Certification in my new (10/2023) and exciting role with VIA Health Partners/Hospice and Palliative Care Lake Norman.
