Summary
- I'm a healthcare executive, Nurse Practitioner, and DNP candidate passionate about transforming how we care for people with substance use disorders. With 20+ years of experience—starting as a medical assistant and now leading national clinical programs—I blend strategic insight with clinical compassion to drive real change in addiction medicine.
Currently, I serve as Vice President of Medical Services at Aware Recovery Care, where I’ve helped scale our In-Home Addiction Treatment (IHAT) model across 11 states. I’ve led initiatives that improved MAT access, developed virtual detox protocols, and built integrated care teams that deliver care with dignity, safety, and impact.
My career has been shaped by a decade in correctional healthcare, where I witnessed firsthand the deep health disparities faced by incarcerated individuals. That experience solidified my commitment to equity in behavioral health—work I continue today through program design and advocacy.
I’m now pursuing my DNP in Executive Leadership at Vanderbilt University, with a focus on on advancing systems-level innovation and evidence-based care models in addiction treatment.
If you're working to reimagine addiction treatment, increase access, or build collaborative care solutions—I’d love to connect.
