Summary

Dr. Catherine Romero is a Family Medicine physician based in Safford, AZ. She graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1997 and completed her residency in Family Medicine at North Colorado Medical Center in 2000. Since then, she has been practicing at Gila Valley Clinic in southeastern Arizona. She has been practicing full-spectrum family medicine including operative obstetrics, inpatient and outpatient medicine and pediatrics, all while growing and managing a private family medicine practice for the past 25 years. She teaches medical students and family medicine residents, and still enjoys the autonomy of private practice. She is enrolled in the Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine Fellowship program projected to graduate in October 2026.
