At Ochsner, she served at the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Program. In 2024, she accepted a position as Associate Professor at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. She is current the Program Director for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

    Dr. Wentowski has significant clinical experience in pulmonary medicine including treatment of obstructive lung disease, interstitial lung disease, and cough. She has extensive critical care experience in managing respiratory failure in the intensive care unit. Her scholarly contributions include several publications, notably on the effects of red blood cell transfusion and the management of solitary pulmonary nodules, with her work being cited extensively in scientific literature.
