Summary
- I am a board certified physician scientist in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I care for patients living with HIV at the Comprehensive Care Clinic and on the Infectious Disease consult service. The goal of my research is to understand the role of virus-specific immune cells in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease pathogenesis in persons living with HIV. My long term goal is to define innate and adaptive immune markers that can improve the risk stratification of CVD in persons with HIV, identify novel therapeutic targets and improve clinical outcomes.
