Summary
- Board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Seven years of bedside nursing (5.5 of them in critical care) prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. NP work experience includes: critical care medicine in Virginia with procedures, admissions, and rounding from 2014-2020. I paused clinical work from 2020-2022 due to an out of state move and administrative reasons secondary to the pandemic. NP experience in South Carolina includes hospitalist (admissions and consultations only, no rounding) for 1.5 years.
I continue to work PRN performing complex case reviews for a personal law firm in Virginia. I volunteer for a local hospice in a non-clinical position as I enjoy giving back to the community and offering support to those in need.
I am not clinically working currently due to young children, but am eager to return to clinical practice as soon as it is feasible as I am passionate about providing top quality care to all of my patients.
