Dr. Hitchcock directed the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology from 1987 to 1991. Dr. Hitchcock has contributed to several notable publications, including studies on infrared spectral libraries for skin cancer, infrared spectral probe results for keratinocytic carcinoma, molecular imaging in solid tumors, autopsy techniques post-radiofrequency ablation, antigen-directed cancer surgery in colorectal carcinoma, telepathology, and DNA flow cytometry of tumors. Dr. Hitchcock is a nationally recognized medical educator in pathology.
