Summary
- As a General Surgeon I focus on procedures of the abdomen including esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts, the thyroid gland and with diseases involving the skin, breast, soft tissue, and hernias. I was trained in Open surgery initially, but went on to train in minimally invasive and the surgeries I perfom currently are predominantly Laparoscopic.
I have experience with Anti-reflux Surgeries, and have a practice history/background in Open Bariatric Surgery and Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication. I have practiced in smaller markets, and in some cases as a sole GS provider, and have both work ethic and breadth of medical decision making skills.
I have Hospital based Acute Care Experience, as well as a broad exposure to Trauma established during residency and from practicing in smaller communities where I was called upon to perform a broad range of medical decision making, consults and patient care.
