Summary

• Obtained Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Albizu in San Juan and completed an internship accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) at the Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital/University of Miami. Throughout pre-doctoral training, actively sought experiences to cultivate expertise in Clinical Neuropsychology, aligning with the training standards advocated by the Houston Conference on Specialty Education and Training in Clinical Neuropsychology. Following these guidelines, successfully completed a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and Aging (CNSA) within the University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine. Clinical training has consistently emphasized the early detection of neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Furthermore, received supervised training in assessing various neurological, cerebrovascular, autoimmune, traumatic brain injury, and psychiatric conditions, among others. Clinical background also include a strong commitment to clinical research, encompassing the development of neuropsychological measures, multicultural neuropsychology, and cognitive neuroscience. His contributions extend to multiple publications in esteemed scientific journals, and he is currently engaged in collaborative research projects at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus.
