He is a member of the International Scientific Advisory Board of the 27th World Congress of IACAPAP. He is a recipient of the American Psychiatric Association Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, American Psychoanalytic Association Fellowship, and the Austen Riggs Award for Excellence in Psychotherapy.
Dr. Monsalve is interested in the study of human flourishing, suffering, ethics, economics, entrepreneurship, healthcare policy, and integrative medicine. In June 2025, he will open Verigrate Health to patients nationwide and continue to seek to more efficiently translate discoveries to improve the health of populations both in the United States and Latin America.
