Summary
- I am an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and an Attending Physician in the Division of Emergency Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital. I recognize the trust that our community places in us when children are acutely ill or injured. Each and every shift, I am proud to lead a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, high-quality, and family-centered care.
Academically, I am passionate about finding ways to prevent and reduce morbidity and mortality from pediatric injuries and poisonings. I have significant experience leveraging secondary databases to better characterize injury and poisoning hazards to children with the goal of informing education, advocacy, and policy initiatives, as well as targeted interventions. My current research is focused on predicting risk of post-traumatic stress disorder after injury as well as improving the identification and management of opioid poisonings in the pediatric population.
