Christopher Kagay is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who operates on a patient-centered philosophy of holistic care, guided by evidence-based practice. He abides by a commitment to individualized, personalized, and comprehensive care for all his patients.

He began his career in nursing 15 years ago working in a critical access ER before discovering his passion for mental health and transferring to inpatient psych care. With a desire to best help his mental health patients, he returned to the University of Missouri for additional training and education from the university’s PMHNP program.

Chris is experienced in treating patients of all ages with psychiatric illness. He has practiced in a wide variety of settings and has also worked extensively with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC patients. He is experienced in the treatment of many disorders/problems, including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Substance use, PTSD/Trauma, Autism, Bipolar Disorders and Psychosis.
