Overview of Dr. Vassar
Codie Vassar, MD, is a psychiatrist based in Orange, CA, with a background in military medicine, healthcare disparities, underserved communities, veteran care, and psychopharmacology. She completed her medical degree in 2017 at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by a residency in psychiatry at Froedtert Hospital. She holds a B.S. in Biology and Mathematics and an M.S. in Clinical Informatics, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Vassar has worked as an emergency psychiatrist, psychiatric resident, and as a behavioral health officer in the Army National Guard. Currently, she practices at Aspirus Stevens Point Clinic. Her work includes research published in Flexner Alliance Beyond and has been recognized with a Student Service Award from her alma mater.
