She received her medical degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Hadassah Medical School, and completed her Psychiatry Residency and a Research Fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Health System. She has clinical and research experience in post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety disorders. She has more than 20 publications and over 500 citings. Dr. David served as Chief of Psychiatry at the Miami VA Healthcare System for 12 years, and as Associate Training Director for the Psychiatry Residency Training Program at University of Miami for 20 years, prior to her retirement at the end of July 2022.
