Summary
- My clinical emphasis in on the care of acute illness and injury in children. My professional goal is to use my sense of humor and empathy for children to minimize the stress and fear children experience with a visit to the emergency department. My research interests are in pediatric concussion. My main interests are in the clinical identification and management of concussion. My research has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and on NPR. I am looking for ways to improve and speed initial recover, decrease risk of subsequent injury, and identify patients at higher risk for post-concussive syndrome.
