Darby Naheedy DO

Summary

• I am currently a fourth-year medical student at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, with interest in pursuing a residency in pathology. Prior to medical school, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Since 2017, I have maintained my ASCP certification in MLS. Alongside my studies, I work on an as-needed basis at Rush Copley Medical Center in Illinois as a laboratory generalist.
  To further contribute to the field, I have been an active member of ASCLS since 2016. Over the years, I have taken on roles at both the state and national levels, collaborating with laboratory professionals to advocate for the profession and enhance patient safety. Post-graduation, I intend to continue my MLS credentials and increase my involvement with ASCP. My goal is to support advancements in laboratory medicine and foster a community of medical practitioners that prioritizes accessible education and open communication among providers, colleagues, and patients.
