After attending an adolescent post graduate fellowship program, she was instrumental in opening the first adolescent program in a community setting, The Young Women’s Health Center at Milford Regional Medical Center in 1999. With Darlene’s commitment to high quality care for teens and young adults, this center evolved into The Adolescent and Young Adult Health Center. She dedicated over two decades of her career to this program and delivering exceptional care in a multidisciplinary setting. In 2017 she chose to go back to her roots in pediatrics and joined Kids on the Common pediatrics where she continues to provide high quality care to children, adolescents and their families.
