I am a hospital-based psychiatrist with certifications in general adult Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. The current focus of my clinical work is in ECT and Psychiatric Emergency Services. I am involved in undergraduate and graduate medical student education, including curriculum development as the Director of Medical Student Education in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan and in the pre-clinical Doctoring Course focussing on communication skills.
