Summary

  • David Dunkin, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. Dr. Dunkin obtained his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and received his MD from the Sackler School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric residency at Yale Children’s Hospital followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. In addition to his clinical practice, his current research explores the development of food allergies and the use of Chinese herbal medicines for the treatment of IBD. His research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Dunkin’s clinical practice includes all areas of pediatric gastroenterology with a special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases and immune disorders of the GI tract including eosinophilic esophagitis.
