- I am Chair of the Department of Dermatology and the Clark Wylie Finnerud, MD, Professor of Dermatology at Rush University. I lead an enterprise-wide department spanning nine clinical sites, with oversight of clinical operations, academic programs, and research strategy. Since 2021, our department has achieved over 500% growth in patient revenue and an elevenfold increase in dermatology-driven specialty pharmacy profit. We’ve doubled our residency complement through two ACGME expansions, restored full accreditation with zero citations, and advanced infrastructure to support research and clinical trials. My work focuses on health system transformation, faculty development, and building sustainable models for academic innovation and access.
