Summary

  • I am a physician-scientist with board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology. I focus on hematopoiesis and the hematopoietic stem cell niche in blood disorders. My laboratory is split between the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology both within the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. I focus on translating hematopoietic biology to therapy and have co-founded the public companies Fate Therapeutics and Magenta Therapeutics. I am a director for Magenta, Editas and Agios.
