- David Shin, M.D. is Chief of the Center for Sexual Health and Fertility in the Department of Urology at Hackensack University Medical Center and Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Urology at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. His area of expertise and interests include medical and surgical treatments for erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, male incontinence, male infertility and hypogonadism (low testosterone level).
As a leader in the area of men’s urological health, Dr. Shin is frequently invited to be a guest lecturer. He has won numerous awards including 1st prize at the Ferdinand C. Valentine Resident Essay Contest for his clinical research in andrology and has been selected as a CREST (Clinical Research/Reproductive Scientist Training) scholar from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, Duke University and American Society for Reproductive Medicine. He is widely published, presenting his research at national and international meetings for the American Urological Association, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, American College of Surgeons and the National Men’s Health Conference. Dr. Shin is currently the President for the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction.
