    He completed medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, an internship in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, a neurology residency at Boston University Medical Center, and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Then, Dr. Vossler joined the faculty at the University of Washington and now serves as a Clinical Professor of Neurology.
    He served as the Medical Director of the Neuroscience Institute at UW Medicine | Valley Medical Center in Renton Washington, and previously served as Medical Director of the Epilepsy Center and Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratories at Swedish Medical Center.
    His clinical expertise includes EEG, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy.
    He has published 115 original research and review articles and book chapters on antiseizure medications, temporal lobe epilepsy, EEG, evoked potentials, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and other topics.
    Dr. Vossler conducted 72 clinical research trials and has participated in the research leading to the approval of 17 antiseizure medications, the responsive neurostimulator, and new approaches to epilepsy surgeries.
    Dr. Vossler is on the Board of Directors of the American Epilepsy Society and the Professional Advisory Board of the Epilepsy Foundation Northwest.
    He has served on multiple international journals as both contributing editor and peer-reviewer. He consults with multiple international companies conducting research and development of new antiseizure therapies.
