Dr. Dean Pappas is a highly experienced Colon & Rectal Surgeon based in Garden City, New York. He received his medical education from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and also holds an MBA from Adelphi University. Furthermore, his surgical residencies in Colon and Rectal Surgery and Surgery were completed at Orlando Health and Stony Brook Medicine/University Hospital respectively. Dr. Pappas currently heads the Division of Colorectal Surgery at South Nassau Communities Hospital and Winthrop University Hospital. His expertise includes colonoscopy, pelvic floor pain/dysfunction, and laparoscopy among others.
