Summary
- With a focus on securing top executives for academic health science centers, I bring contemporary industry knowledge with a focus on diversity to executive search and talent development assignments throughout the U.S. and Canada.
I am a former Professor of Obstetrics-Gynecology and MFM Division Director at the University of California, Irvine. There, with talented basic science colleagues I opened a Perinatal Research Laboratory, acquired nearly $8M in NIH-funding and trained fellows who assumed positions in academic institutions including Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University and the University of Colorado. I am board-certified in obstetrics-gynecology and in the subspecialty of maternal-fetal medicine and have served as an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and on the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Subspecialty Division.
I am a proud member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine with service on many prominent committees related to research, finance and philanthropy, and also act as a consultant for several national and international biotechnology and pharmaceutical firms.
