Summary
- I am a board-certified nephrologist who specializes in kidney transplantation. I currently serve as the medical director of the kidney transplant program at UC San Diego Health.
My expertise includes pre and post kidney transplant care, pregnancy in transplant recipients, and the care of young adults who are transitioning from pediatric to adult transplant programs. I also maintain an active National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded laboratory that studies ways to prevent kidney graft loss before and after transplantation.
