  • Dr. Douglas Forman, MD, MBA, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon in North Bethesda, Maryland, where he has practiced since 1998. He earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, completed a general surgery residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and finished his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Yale School of Medicine, where he received numerous awards.

    He went on to complete a fellowship in Breast and Aesthetic Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine, after which he joined the faculty there as a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery.

    His practice focuses on body contouring after significant weight loss, breast augmentation, breast lift and reduction, mommy makeover, and facial procedures including facelift and blepharoplasty. Dr. Forman is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the founding and first President of the Maryland Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has held several leadership roles at Suburban Hospital, including Chair of Plastic Surgery, Chief of Surgery, and Chair of the Medical Staff.

    He has been named Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine every year since 2005, with additional recognition from Washington Post Magazine, US News & World Report, and Newsweek as one of America's Best Surgeons.
