Dr. Douglas States is a Family Medicine Residency Faculty at Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program in Lincoln, NE. Supervising inpatient and outpatient care of the Resident physicians of LFMRP. Dr. States is the Curriculum Director at the program and introduced and maintains a Curriculum website and resident dashboard for curriculum completion. Dr States has developed and leads the endoscopy training curriculum as well, leading hands-on education in upper and lower endoscopy. He completed his medical education at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1992, followed by a Family Medicine residency at Nebraska Medical Center/Clarkson Regional Health Service until 1995. Previously, he was part of the clinical staff at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE from 1995 to 2023 and ran a solo practice from 2005-2015. Dr. States joined the LFMRP part time in 2015 and continued to provide rural health services to his patients until 2023.
