- Dr. Douglass Hutcheon is a hospitalist and the Chief of Hospital Medicine and Associate Chief of Medicine at the LAC+USC Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. LAC+USC is the teaching hospital for the Keck School of Medicine of USC and one of the largest and busiest teaching hospitalist in the country. LAC+USC provides cutting edge, innovative care to a diverse, historically underserved patient population.
Dr. Hutcheon has proudly practiced at LAC+USC since 2014. He is passionate about developing innovative strategies of delivering high quality care in a resource-limited setting. He is also a dedicated physician educator and mentor.
