Summary

• I'm the Founder, CEO, and Medical Director of the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida, which I founded in 2009. Over 16 years, I have grown the Institute to 29 surgeons across orthopedic subspecialties and expanded its reach through the Paley European Institute in Poland, Paley Middle East Clinic in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Instituto Paley Latino America in Medellin, Colombia. The Paley Institute treats patients from all 50 states and 110+ countries.
  
  I'm internationally recognized for expertise in limb lengthening, deformity correction, complex pediatric orthopedics, and limb reconstruction. I trained under Prof. Gavril Ilizarov in Kurgan, Soviet Union, introduced the Ilizarov method to the U.S. and Canada in 1987, and helped establish its use internationally.
  
  I completed medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Toronto, internship at Johns Hopkins, and fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics, hand surgery, trauma surgery, and limb lengthening and reconstruction. I previously served as Founder and Director of the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics and Professor and Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics at the University of Maryland. I currently hold academic appointments as Professor of Orthopedics at the University of Vermont and Florida Atlantic University.
  
  I have performed 25,000+ surgeries and published 200+ peer-reviewed articles, 73 book chapters, 50 video productions, and 9 books. I served as Orthopedic Surgeon to the White House from 2017 to 2021 and was reappointed in 2025. I developed the CORA method, Multiplier method, and more than 100 surgical procedures, including SUPERhip, SUPERknee, SUPERankle, SHORDT, Paley Rotationplasty, and Paley Cross Union for CPT.
  
  I live with my wife, Jennifer, and have four children and three grandchildren. Outside medicine, I enjoy history, skiing, biking, and climbing, and continue mission work through the Paley and unLIMBited Foundations.
