Summary

  • I am a board certified pediatric physician assistant and fellow of
the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Virginia Academy of
Physician Assistants, and the Society for Physician Assistants in
Pediatrics. I am also a former resident of rural Virginia. I attended Shenandoah
University to obtain my Bachelor’s degree in Biology, minor
in psychology, and Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
I have years of experience in primary care pediatrics from my time at Pediatric and Adolescent Health Partners and have recently joined Columbia Associates in Psychiatry. In my career, I strive to combine my personal background, medical
knowledge, and passion for mental health. In addition to patient care, I serve as
care coordinator, facilitate a Trauma-Informed Leadership Team, and provide brief behavioral interventions. I continue to serve as a guest professor at South University, where I educate didactic physician assistant students on primary care, pediatrics, and topics related to mental health.
