Dr. Eduardo Novais is an orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in pediatric orthopedics with particular expertise in adolescent and young adult hip preservation. His education includes fellowships in musculoskeletal oncology, pediatric orthopaedics, and adolescent and adult hip preservation obtained at prestigious institutions such as the University of Utah, Mayo Clinic, and Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Novais is experienced in procedures like periacetabular osteotomy (PAO). His publications focus on hip dysplasia, slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE), and Perthes disease. He is the co-author and editor of the book Hip Preservation Surgery in Children and Adolescents and has published more than 140 research articles.
