- Edward Gelmann, MD is Professor of Medicine and hold the John Norton Chair in Prostate Cancer Research at the University of Arizona. He completed his medical education at Stanford University School of Medicine in 1976, following it up with a residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center from 1976 to 1978. He completed oncology fellowship at the NCI in Bethesda, MD, and remained at the NCI as a tenured Senior Investigator until 1988. Dr. Gelmann subsequently was a professor at Georgetown University and then at Columbia University before moving to the University of Arizona.
