- For the benefit of anyone who may have been misled, my profile previously credited me with many publications of which I had no authorship and to which I made no contributions. My medical career was relatively brief; I practiced Emergency Medicine for twelve years in St. Cloud, Minnesota. I quit clinical medicine in 1992 for a career in software development, writing a cardiac emergency simulator and several other medical simulators, as well as software enabling publication of several medical texts and journals on the early internet.
I am now happily retired and, with my wife Noi, divide my time between Chiang Mai, Thailand and Minnesota.
