Elizabeth Stahl, MD is a clinical Endocrinologist and medical director with a managed services organization based in Birmingham, AL, with interests in diabetes, managed care and risk based arrangements. She completed her medical education at University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1989, following which she undertook a Residency in Internal Medicine at Carraway Methodist Medical Center (1989-1992) and a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at University of Alabama (UAB) from 1992 - 1994. Dr. Stahl has held positions as a Senior Medical Director with Cigna Medicare (2013-2021) and is currently the regional medical executive for CareAllies, Southeast region since 2021. She has been recognized for her work with a Diabetes Recognition Program award from the National Committee for Quality Assurance between 2012 and 2015. She is a coach and mentor and is certified in emotional intelligence coaching/debriefs.
