• Dr. Ellen Friedman is a hematologist based in Bronx, NY,and is a Professor Of Oncology and Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has subspecialty expertise in sickle cell and other anemias. She completed her medical education at New York University School of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Hematology at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Friedman is currently the Director of the Sickle Cell Program at Montefiore Medical Center, where she also served as Fellowship Director from 2005 to 2022.
